He is very underrated as an all round player. Because he is so tall people naturally expect him to excel in the air whereas in fact he is a much better ball player at his feet. He can hold the ball up very well and his lay off and passing is also very good. Any improvement should come in his finishing especially in the air.

Crouchy always plays well, he's one of the most consistent players we've got. even when he's not scoring he always works his socks off for the team. As for Liverpool winning the champions league? I don't want to say anything negative, but no. Liverpool haven't played well all season, even in the games they won, the opposition played worse. particularly Bordeaux, who were the worst team i've ever seen, Villa played terrible and so did Spurs. By the way I am a Liverpool fan so don't like puting them down but the best is definitley yet to come this season

A lot of people doubt the abilities of Crouchino but he is quite a clever person and has a good footballing brain. To all you Man Ure fans out there Rafa won the Champions League in one, YES ONE season whereas Ferguson has taken twenty just to get ole big ears once. Ha even Villa have one it once. Notts Forest have one it twice. Liverpool 5 TIMES.

no, liverpool will not win the champions league...crouch has done well for liverpool in this group, as he did well for england against such mighty opposition like jamaica, trinidad etc...when will u liverpool fans grasp this, crouch plays well against mediocre sides & if none of u can admit that u have just qualified from 1 of the weakest champions league groups of all time, u must be crackers....to be honest, i think as a team that liverpool are going backwards rather than forwards...i think this is the worst team u have had since rafa has been there...

After that very long wait to get his first goal for us he's been scoring fairly consistently. Much better than £30m Sheva at Chelski. Crouchy always gives his best, his holdup play is excellent and his knockdowns to set up teammates are first class. And he's been prolific for England, going from booed at Old Trafford to cult idol with his robot celebration, and what about that scissorkick goal!!! Next year we'll be singing "We won it 6 times, we won it 6 times......." YNWA

Certainly - but remember, one man does not make a team. It takes 11 men (& 5 or 6 on the subs' bench).

Liverpool is a much better European than league team this season. Their style is much more suited for it.
