No but I think they should be given a chance - and that chance should be the chance to escape from a ravenous jaguar. Their balls should be put in a vice, then the aforementioned jaguar is released and the perv is either mauled to death or gets out of the vice by ripping their own balls off. Whether they can then outrun the jaguar is their problem.

IMNSHO, the very best treatment for rapists and especially child molesters is Lead Therapy. It consists of five 240 grain doses administered behind the left ear at 950 feet per second. All rapists and child molesters so treated are totally cured and are never again a threat to society. It has a 100% cure ratio. Doc

no they can't be cured and given the opportunity will molest again and again. I know several victims of molestation and the persons who committed these acts have all committed many more sense only getting a few months in jail. but another sick thing is most of them have girlfriends or wives who know what they are and stay with them.. I say child molesters and rapist be put to death to protect the rest of society.

Nope! I keep hearing about CUREING them. How can you cure something that is not a disease? They have made a choice that they have decided to follow. Has anybody ever watched Dateline, when they have shown their stings with the group called Perverted Justice? All the people they caught don't seem to have a disease. And, NO I don't consider it to be a mental disorder either. Besides there is NO CURE FOR STUPIDITY.

No. The best control would be chemical castration but we are too weak a society to carry it out. We would rather put them in a nice warm hospital at great expense for a time and then release them to continue the cycle.

Anything and everything is possible. However, since the current methods don't seem to be making great strides, a different more creative approach is needed. I would imagine it will take a pioneer to come along and enlighten current thinking and belief systems.

I am all for early detection and prevention. But once they have attempted to harm a child they have no business in society any longer. The primary function of society is to protect the young. To allow those predetors back out amongst our children specifically defies the purpose of our society.

Child molesters/paedophiles and rehabilitation is an oxymoron, once they have been convicted they should be locked up for life never to be freed again!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to say yes, but as i am a mother..........you cannot afford to take a risk. Children are precious and need protection. Anyone who takes away a child innocence is pure evil in my book. I'm sorry for sounding harsh but cannot even begin to comprehend they're actions.....

Leopards don't change their spots. But while you can't change the way they think, it is possible to change the way they act so yes, they may still want to act on their impulses but they know they mustn't for fear of imprisonment etc.

Don't get me wrong, I think they should remain locked up but that's not how it goes I guess.
