my car is being repaired after the insurance forked out the £3200 cost, It was bent on the front and had to be jigged will this be recorded on the car details when i get it back or do they not give it a category if they fix it

In Uk there is no record kept if the insurance has paid out for repairs

it will be catorgarised but it shouldnt affect your chance of selling the car because it is fixed.... it is worth the same amount as it would be if it were not damaged, that is the point of insurance. to give you the full amount that is meant for the car.... even if it were damged!

all repairs (if legal) will go on the permanant racord of the car)

if it was that badly damaged they wouldn't bother repairing it. and just give you the MARKET VALUE.
