My son was able to get a work permit that allowed him to work certain hours at 14 and a few more hours at 15. Stop in your school guidance office to ask if your state does anything like that. (He had to get signed off at school and through our village to do that).
While you are in the guidance office- you might want to talk to someone about what is going on at home that your parents are acting like this.

In the meantime- you can babysit.

Good luck

UM-MM I don't think so, they are required by law to provide for you till the age of 18 it the law not a choice, let them know that you know this and will make the calls if necessary the child protection services in your area. But you have to have prof of this not just accusations. Unfortunately for you you are only 14 which means you cant get a job even if you wanted to again there are laws about child labor. This is the United States of America after all.

Stay away from Cash Create!

It's a waste of time.

If you choose to be suckered in and sign up to take surveys and get free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your personal information you open your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

If you're 14 and you're parents are forcing you to buy you're own food that's child abuse. They have a responsibility, an obligation. Report them to your state Division of Child Welfare Services. On the other hand, if its "discretionary" food items you're wanting to buy, then find babysitting, or other neighborhood jobs.

Someone needs to report your parents to whatever Human Services department you have in your area. They are still responsible for your primary care. If you're being serious, seek out your local resources for help because this is a form of child abuse---neglect.

Talk to your counselor at your school. This sounds like a situation an outside agency should look into.

Try to get babysitting jobs or odd jobs like dog walking, lawn mowing, leaf raking, etc.
