I knew a guy who detailed cars for years and he always used gasoline. A little gas in a glass cup and a rag will take it right off. Wash with soap and water when your done. I've never seen it harm paint either. Just keep in mind that if you use it on paint, it will take the wax off too. As always be careful with flammable liquids..no smoking while your doing it lol

Tree sap is water soluble and pine is tough to get off , WD 40 does work , mineral Spirits (turpentine=pine sap cooked down)

ive never heard of using WD-40 to clean anything besides bolts. I know that you can find a car cleaner for just about anything at your local car care store (especially the cheap guys like AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts). Normally i wouldnt reccomend these places but for making things LOOK good they're great. Look for some stuff called Black Magic (kinda red container) it works great.

You can actually use a razor blade on the glass. It won't hurt the glass and it will scrape pretty much anything off there. The paint is another story though.

the best and easiest way to remove it. are you ready rubbing alcohol 90% or better this works on the paint also just rember it might strip the wax off.

ya razor blad sho do the trick, and WD-40...or anything like that, carberator cleaner....
Not sure about dishwasher soap....
