My period came on as it was suppose to, but on day three it lightened up and completely stopped. After my husband and I had sex I started bleeding lightly for about an hour and it stopped. The next day after sex it happened again. And the day after that I spotted very lightly for half the day. My periods normally last for 5-7 days and are heavy for most of those days. Is this normal or could I be pregnant?

If you have been having unprotected sex you may be pregnant, this bleeding may be implantation bleeding, you usually get this around your normal period time, and it is much lighter and shorter. You may want to take a home test, or make an appoitment with the OBGYN that may be wise if your test comes out negitive. Good luck to you!

I would say the only normal is what is normal for you. This one sounds like it isn't normal for you so why not take a test. It could have been implantation bleeding. A lot of women who get it mistake it for a light period. I would take a test with first thing in the morning urine. Good luck I hope you get what you want.

bleeding after having sex along with heavy periods sounds like endometriosis.
