In other words, what song do you feel connected to and/or feel describes you? why? whats your story?
(mine, Mary J. Blige ''Take Me As I am''
I have been through alot in my life and I feel that it has caused me to mature and improve so much in so many different ways and that is what Mary talks about in this song, relating to herself. You?

This song below has special meaning to me and always makes me cry whenever I hear it play. I had a True Love killed by a jerk raising hell on a snowmobile. We had it all. I never thought I would ever meet anyone that would show me how a real woman was to be treated. I had a terrible marriage, took beatings, lived with a drunk and managed to raise two boys with a jerk . When the lowest part of my life hit and along came my True love. He was absolutely wonderful. I got chills just thinking about him. No matter where I was, what I was doing or hwre he was, we both felt the same, that we were going to last forever. He was buried on my birthday. That was a sign to me he meant every word, and everything he ever told me. I now live day by day making each moment count the best I can until it is my time and then we can forever be together. I miss him so much. He was so good to me and my boys. Love ya McFly...
(sorry..crying now)
Far Away By Nickleback
This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
[CHORUS]
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore
One my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
[CHORUS]
So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know
I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving
Hold on to me and, never let me go
LL.

That's the same song for me for the same reason. I'm only 23 and been through things people my age can't even imagine but I still manage to come out on top " Cause you can't hold a good Woman Down" so " Take Me as I am"

The Dance By Garth Brooks.
I think it basically to me describes life itself. In the chorus
"I could've missed the pain, but I would have to miss The Dance"
Some people think it's about a romance that went bad, but I heard Garth once put it that it's a song about life. Think about it. "Sometimes we have to go through some hard times in order to get to the good"

"Lips of an Angel" - my ex from 13 years ago told me to listen to it. I just started talking to him again about 6 months ago. We are both seeing other people. In my life, it would start a fight if he found out and his girl is totally clueless. We ended it over something really stupid, but we both held on to the little momentos. When we started talking again, the feelings all came back and it is very hard to be faithful.

awe you are such a biter (ha ha) no but seriously I would have to say the same as you and for pretty much the same reasons. I actually cry when I sing that song sometimes cause I feel so connected to it. (I know that's kinda gay) but you know I cry about everything.

Fearless - VNV Nation
Empowering song for me. Whenever I feel like things can't get any worse, I think of the lyrics and realize that I can get through anything. Pretty repetetive, kind of like an affirmation . . .
So many little things followed me.
So many little things that bothered me. But I found my answer.
From all the chaos that followed me I have found my answer.
I've told you before don't follow me because I am not your answer.
I am not alone, I am not afraid, I am not unhappy.
These are the words I say to myself every day.
I am not alone, I am not afraid, I am not unhappy.
Tell me what ritual I should have today.
But I'm not alone. I've resolved so many things and set myself free.
I am not alone, I am not afraid, I am not unhappy.
The words I say to myself every day.
I am not alone, I am not afraid, I am not unhappy.
Such a stupid ritual to have to say to myself every day.
I'm not alone but I found my answer and set myself free. I'm not unhappy.
I'm not alone and I'm not unhappy.
Not alone and I'm not unhappy.
I'm not afraid and I'm not unhappy.
I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid.
I am not alone. I am not afraid. I am not unhappy.
These are the words I say to myself every day.
I am not alone. I am not afraid. I am not unhappy. I'm not afraid
I am not alone. I am not afraid. I am not unhappy.
The words I say to myself everyday.
I am not alone. I am not afraid. I am not unhappy.
Such a stupid ritual to have to say to myself every day.
I'm not alone but I found my answer and set myself free. I'm not unhappy.

POPSICLE TOES by Michael Franks. It came out when my wife and I were newlyweds and were constantly fussing about her putting her cold feet on mine in bed! I was also playing keyboards in a jazz group at the time so it immediately became our song.

Drops of Jupiter by Train. I'm always taking chances.
Bright Lights by Matchbox 20, the lyrics to that song fit phases I've been in and am still in, of my so-called life.
