Assuming you have a Windows PC, try double-clicking the clock on the bottom right corner of your task bar. That will bring up the "Date and Time Properties" dialog box. That has a tab for "Time Zone", click on that. In the drop down pick the time zone you like.

Right click on the clock in the system tray (lower right corner) and
Adjust Date/Time. Go to the Time Zone tab and change the setting to EST. Should add three hours to the clock.
