No, all teachers are paid on a step scale. But perhaps you heard that physics teachers earn more because they are in demand. For example, let's say we just hired an English teacher and we also just hired a science teacher. It is possible to hire the science teacher at a higher step on the scale (more money) while the English teacher might start on step 1. That would be an enticement to get the science teacher since other schools might also need him/her.

No. All teachers, regardless of what they teach get paid the same things if they have the same number of years teaching and have the same number of credits. Teachers are paid on a scale that is set up by their contract. Each district might be slightly different inregards to salary, but teachers in the same district all get paid the same as per their contract no matter what subject they teach.

A long time ago when it was more difficult to get teachers and it paid more to work in industry, science teachers did get paid more. Now all teachers get the same, except special ed teachers get a stipend. You gaet more for more work such as play ground or lunch duty, sports coaching, clubs, and etc.

Phycisc is a tough subject when compare to other. if u consider mathematics teacher the know only abt maths and chemistry teachers know only about chemsitry. but if u take physics teachers the know some part in maths and chemistry also. for eg. in phy you study abt radio carbon dating, neutrons reaction, radio activity(depends on chem).
i hope thats the main reason.
