The wife should be in charge of meals. If hubby likes to cook, great let him cook, but the wife should plan and shop for everything. If she knows how lucky she is, she should make it a fun and enjoyable time. EVERYTIME!!!

I honestly think it should be whomever likes to cook. If your wife likes to cooks - perhaps you should volunteer to do the dishes afterwards so the meal preparation is a shared duty? If neither of you like to cook, maybe take a cooking class together? Once you have the skills, you both may really find it to be a fun activity to do together as it allows you to be creative and also gives you a chance to talk while you are at it. In my household, my husband does the preparation (say - chopping the vegetables, preparing the meat) and I take over and make the meal. Together, we clean up afterwards.

That all depends many men like to work in the kitchen and make great cooks chefs etc.. they enjoy it its relaxing for them at the same time its very creative and they like making different meals. if your not the type that likese that and belives the woman should make all the meals then make sure you discuss this when dating.

im not married, but my boyfriend is a really good cook and i cant cook at all. i hate it, he loves it. it actually works rather well. while it is true that in the past the role of the women usually involves cooking, times have changed and now its either of them. it depends if they enjoy it, can/cannot cook, or if they are really busy and take turns. perhaps they each prepare certain meals~
