At the present time it is illegal, but it will be agrued soon, that any religion that allows more than one wife will eventually get it, cause of religious freedoms here have allowed daggers in schools, and rights like gay marriage, and to refuse a womans right to marry a man even though both man and woman agree to this based on religious values even.

It may or will most likely happen one day.

I am amazed the mormons here haven't tried yet.

I'm from Canada and can tell you that marrying more than one person (polygamy) is illegal in the eyes of the Canadian Law under Charter Section 293 of the Criminal Code. There is however a Fundamentalist Mormon community of 1,000 people in Bountiful, in south-eastern British Columbia who have been practicing polygamy for the last 60 years. The RCMP is investigating this community on allegations of child abuse and sexual exploitation. As of January of this year, no charges have been laid.

quite simply put. NO polygymy is illegal throughout Canada and is punishable by 5 years in prison. As well some claim they have human and religious rights to polygymy, this has been struck down by the supreme court on more than one occassion

far as I know, still illegal although I've heard there are some people out there in Canada in this ridiculous situation. I agree, who would want to?

NOPE. A BETTER QUESTION IS WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO? IMAGINE TWO WOMEN WITH PMS. AT THE SAME TIME. JUST CHEAT LIKE WE ALL DO.
