Well, I recently shuffled through my drawer and saw my old HitClips and heard the song "I like it" by Sammie. then "crazy" by britney spears then "bye bye bye" by nsync, and it brought SO many memories of kindergarten and first grade.

When I posted a question about what foods remind you of home and mom. That always gives me a sweet, warm feeling.

My father (who I haven't spoken to in almost ten years) recently died and I expected to remember all the bad times a crappy things that happened - but I was pleasantly surprised when one of the first memries that came back was of a water fight that started by accident when I was a kid - it went for hours - the whole family got invoved and we all had a great time - at one point I remember I made it to the tap on the outside of the house and was filling my bucket with water, I thought I was so sneaky, but dad was in the bathroom in the house - the window for the bathroom was right above me - all I heard was a sly little giggle and then a flood of water came pouring out - it soaked me to the bone - he had snuck in the house, taken out the screen, and filled a ten gallon pail in the bathtub, and dumped it out the window - everyone laughed, then we all went for ice cream - I'm glad that the good ones are the memories that stuck.

I just received a picture of my granddaughter all dressed to the nines and her hair done well by a hairdresser. I thought it was one of my daughters and thus, brought back many memories of her at that age some 35 years ago.
