I asked my OB if there was anything i could take to help me sleep and she said that Benedryl was safe once in a while. People are right nothing is safe but that includes food, laundry detergent, soap, and pretty much everything else. If you listen to people you will drive yourself nuts. Relax, and don't worry about the people who condemn every little thing. My doc did say it was o.k. but if you want to be sure and safe check with yours.

That's what my doctor says is ok to take. But I would first ask your doctor what is safe. I took benadryl last night because of the cold I have and I'm 19 weeks pregnant.

Never take any over the counter drug without checking with your doctor. There should be an advice nurse through with either the doctor's office or hospital who can give you the preapproved list of drugs. And they will differ for during pregnancy, trying to conceive and if you are breast feeding.

It is important that you watch what you take while you are pregnant. the only thing you can take during pregnancy is halls and maybe motrin. If you feel as though you need more answers ask your doctor.

It would be best to avoid it. It contains drugs that are transferable to the fetus.
