a guitar game like guitar hero-- DDR is able to be played on a DVD player and plugged staright into the TV

DVD player: not that I know of.

Guitar Hero-type games does NOT exist for the original X-Box.

But Guitar Hero 2 is in-Development for the 360. An ESTIMATE for the release date in Q1/2 07.
