For now, nowhere. Unless you plan to wait in line for a while.. And by a while I mean a LONG time.. eBay is a good choice, if you are willing to overpay for it by about $300.

I got mine Today, Friday the 24th at about 10:30 at a crowded suburban Toys R Us. No luck at Best-Buy or Target and from their reaction, they didn't seem to have gotten anymore since the release. I live in a rural area but happened to be in the cities.

On the release night, I didn't get one at our area Wal-Mart and the manager said he'd give me and a few others a call when more showed up, but said he didn't expect that for at least two weeks but didn't know. They haven't called yet.

If Best Buy is running an ad on it, it would be worth checking out but I'd bet that has more to do with getting people in the store than securing a shipment of Wii's. As far as I know, retailers don't know when they'll recive more.

Just start calling places every day rather than show up at the stores. Just because "online" sites are sold out, doesn't mean they don't have them in stock at the stores. I found when the Nintendo DS came out, all online stores were sold out but our Toys R Us had lots of them....every day. Today I did the "store run" to everybody that might have had the Wii's in stock. Best Buy had some 2 days ago, Wal-Mart was supposed to get them in on the truck today but they weren't there, so they are hoping tomorrow's truck will have them. I think they just get them randomly. BUT NEVER pay more on ebay......it's not worth it.

If people know, why would they tell you? Wouldn't they rather get it themselves, either to keep it, give it as presents, or put it on Ebay?

Look at it this way, there's approximately 200,000 Wiis in stores each week, so most stores are getting around 5 to 10 per week.

There's a rumor that Best Buy's Sunday ad has the Wii on it, so BB might have gotten a decent shipment this week.

Good question. There are none available here. So sad. Even the online stores are all sold out. Well, unless you want to pay a lot extra. Good luck to you and me. :)

a game store such as gamestop... More than likely you can get one there if the gamestore doesn't get a lot of customers and if the store is in a rural area like the suburbs..
