brooms with a cloth over the ends work. dust mop.. anything. Just get rid of them.
There was an old saying, something about keeping the tiny winter spiders, allowing them to live along with you. Seems they ate everything that was bad for you..
In this house, they'd have to be very tiny, because I really hate spiders!

starting off with a tarantula is not wise being more comparable to swimming with sharks (rather than little fish). I in my computer room watch spiders scurry across the wall at speeds that make Science Fiction about the speed of people sized spiders way way too slow. I figure they do 100MPH. which means humans do not stand a chance in a foot race. Little spiders will remain generally small and you got big feet, right? Problem solved mind you, I let them build webs in the upper corners of the room which they leave there as I guess the spider figures there must be a better room for food than mine(I have no flies or bugs flying around so the spiders starve or eat another species that happen into the room. Basically they are fishing for their meal. Window screen on always keeps all the critters out.

a broom, get on a step latter and clean the fan with soap and water. It is probaby not spider webs, but dust webs.

wrap an old tshirt around a broom and use that to wipe the spiders away.

I have this broom extended handle with a big brizzle on the end of it and it gets my cobwebs real good. You can buy these at nearly all dept stores Kmart, walmart and they come in bright colors. Mine is Purple....

A broom, a mop, a dust mop, a vacuum cleaner, a stick with a rag on it....pick one, any one.

I use my vacuum, it has an arm with an extender on it and it easily reaches my cealing to suck up the webs.

Tape a couple of old brushes (or scrub brushes) back to back on your broom stick. (Do not reuse brushes!)
