How long are the wait times where you live to get medical tests/procedures done?

Please tell me what country you are in when you answer this.

In Canada it seems pretty long (but it's free). My client has been waiting over 4 months for an MRI, cataract surgery, knee surgery and back surgery and still doesn't have a date set for any of it. She has to wait for the hospital to notify her.

the MRI you can get right away, cataract surgery 2 weeks, knee surgery, depends if it is a knee replacement or an injury, knee replacement and back surgery about a month.
