I am sorry to find that both you and the three answers so far all consider the statement 'hooey'(whatever that means it could not be anything complimentary).I pity all of you as none of you appear to have been touched by the heavenily feeling of love. If you had and even if you had lost it then and then only you would have known the eternal truth of this statement.
The statement is not open for voting for to be qualified as a voter on the voters' list you have to pass this acid test of loving. If you come out of it successfully you are disqualified from voting. It is only when you have failed the test(i.e. loved and lost) you are qualified to vote but then the election could be challenged on the basis of voters being under influence. Whichever way you look at it ,it is a no-win situation.
The loser victim in this engagement does bleed but does not only not feel any pain but actually feels happy.

Agree. It kind of goes along with living a life that you waste being scared about everything, that would not be living, but taking chances can let you enjoy it for however long you may have. This is just how I feel, I do not expect others to feel the same way.

Love is the most precious thing anyone will ever have, or have not in life. It is far better to have had something than to have never had it at all. Love is beautiful and therefore it is something thats rare in this life. So yes I agree that It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

I agree. I'd prefer to experience love and have my heart broken then to never know what it's like to be in love with someone and what's it's like for someone to be in love with me.
