Its my birthday and I really wanted Sushi, but the restaurant isn't open tonight
I am SO hungry, but nothing else sounds good
what should I have him bring home???
please help me get my tastebuds thinking about something good.

It's not quite dinner time yet, but I'll be having leftovers - sela basmati rice (it's like a brown basmati, with a lower GI than white basmati), potato & spinach curry (nice, even if I say so myself) and dhal (based around toor dhal, with tomato, potato, onion, drumsticks - no, the moringa fruit 'drumsticks', not the chicken-leg 'drumsticks' you were thinking of - I'm a vegan after all). All home-cooked. Alone, though I did have an old friend for dinner last night (but no chianti or fava beans LOL). I'll probably have a glass of sloe vodka with that, or maybe an extra-dry beer.
