OK, so this afternoon I felt like something was stuck in my throat, and I've had that sort of feeling all day, but now it's more painful than anything. And I've been pretty tired all day, but I'm not sure if the two things have anything in common. Does anyone have any idea if this is just a normal sore throat or could it be something else? Because usually its been a more stinging kind of pain when I get a sore throat. I'm just hoping its nothing major because I have an audition for the school musical on Monday....

Everyone I know has or had that including me (just got over it). this bug makes you week, sore joints and makes your throat feel like sh*t, you just want to stay in bed and don't want to eat but it doesn't last..about48 hours. Make sure you get down lots of fluids, and try (even though you wont want to)eat or sip on some kind of broth or tomato soup and you'll be as good as new in a few days. ( I know what your saying about me right know) like I said...I've been there, LOL but give er hellll :) If this throat thing does last, maybe it's time to see a doctor. Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

I'm sorry to hear that your throat hurts and that you have been feeling fatigued. Usually, people that get these symptoms can be getting a cold or may not be getting enough sleep. There can be a lot of air-borne bacterias (people coughing, sneezing, shaking hands, etc.) which contribute to symtoms such as sore throat and feeling tired. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day and get as much rest as you can. Also, gargle with salt water at the end of each day.

Sounds like mono (the kissing disease). It feels like you swallowed sand paper. Open your mouth wide, say aaaah and see if you have any white pusy blisters on the back of your throat. You also feel very tired with mono. You need to visit your doctor to get penicillin. It really works for the pain. In the mean time, stay in bed, don't share your drinks and don't go to work it is very contagious.

You go to the Ear Nose and Throat specialist, you might have the inflammation of both your tonsils.Normally,we classify the tonsils inflammation,by three degrees,if only it reaches the level one,you can be cured by normal medicines. But if the second or third degree of the inflammation, your tonsils must be removed by the ENT specialist.

Okay, no more talking for you, and lots of rest and fluids. You probably just have a virus, and a weekend's rest would cure it. If you have a fever, that's a bacterial infection, so go see your doctor. Otherwise, rest! Break a leg at your audition on
Monday!

gargle with some warm water with salt (iodized table salt) and a bit of hydrogen peroxide. That should help...and stay away from smoking

you probably have a sinus infection dripping down the back of your throat. I got one today, too. It's probably allergies.
