I don't think that Michigan deserves another shot. They already lost their chance last week. I think that it's got to be a team like USC or maybe even Florida, since neither has played Ohio State or Michigan.

As an Ohio St. fan, i might hate to work out Michigan get yet another shot. besides the undeniable fact that, i've got self belief that precise now, the "quantity one contender" order is going like this: USC, Florida, Michigan. If USC runs the table against Notre Dame and UCLA, they could get the pastime. could they lose the two pastime, then they circulate to the Rose Bowl and Florida gets in in the event that they win out. yet while the Gators lose to Florida St. or Arkansas, then we are returned to Michigan. precise now, they're the only 3 communities that deserve a niche interior the national championship. Say what you desire approximately Notre Dame, Arkansas, West Virginia, or maybe Boise St., yet there are basically 3 communities that extremely have an argument to play against Ohio St. for the call.

its just a loose loose game, if Michigan wins the teams will be 1-1 against each other and the debate will rage, if ohio wins it will be 2-0 them and a shot at the title will have been wasted on a team that was already beaten by the champ. if another teams perfect season can be discounted by the strength of their opponent it would be a waste to give another team 2 chances when a perfect team wouldn't get any. michigan had their opportunity and they lost, period.
all the teams that lost the super bowl to the patriots by less than a touchdown want another shot too.
i just don't understand how you can discount other teams because they beat weaker teams but want to give michigan a pass when ohio beat that exact team, either the regular season counts for something or it doesn't, you can't pick and choose this counts for this team and this counts against this one.no matter how many times you say michigan barely lost, its still a loss, but you want that loss to count more than other teams wins.

Better than USC playing OSU. USC is always way over rated. It doesn't look like their is a team in the country that can beat OSU at the present time. Tomorrow will tell the tale. USC vs ND. If they loose. I'd bet Mich. will get the rematch

Because based on rankings and strength of schedule, UM has the best team (with maybe USC) to make it a good game...
If we went with the way it should go then the 2 teams that are undefeated should play each other- namely OSU and Boise State, but that would not be a very good game now would it?
The BCS needs a playoff or go back to the old system...

Most of us have moved on... we don't want no stinking rematch. We'll meet OSU again next year at the Big House and Troy Smith will be QB for the Detroit Lions (poor guy).

I think Michigan deserves a rematch because many bets were made on that game and they let all of their fans down

they are obviously no. 1 and 2 in the country, not so much as a rematch, but the top two should play for the title. simple as that
