1st poster-- "A day in the life of Ivan Denisovich" is by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, not Dostoevsky.

I adore "The Brothers Karamazov"...

I read him my freshman year in college and it literally changed my life...I realized how "small" I had been growing up and how much I would have to learn, how much there was to read. I can't over emphasize how much he changed me, both in good and bad ways,
