Is it a good idea to use those cocoa butter sticks to moisterize your lips when not wearing lipstick or gloss? I saw someone use it an was unsure. I am Af. American and so was the person using the stick, in case that makes a difference.

cocoa butter is good for the skin, I don't think it should matter if you're black or white (sorry, couldn't help the song reference).

I dont' see why it could hurt your lips, it might taste bad, though.

Well if you are using the Cocoa Butter Stick made /especially/ for your lips, then yes it's a very good idea. Lipstick can often be drying, so this will help keep your lips from chapping, therefore making the lipstick look better. It's not really needed for gloss though, seeing as most of those are moisterizing enough by themselves.

Go to Bath and Body Works ( If you have 1 near you) ....by the counter they sell "CoBigelow" Mentha lip shine it moisterizes and gives you a shine and gives fresh breath. It's a little green tube...about $7.00 But works great......!!! Me and my sister in law uses it and she is african american. You can use it over lipstick or just wear alone.....it's great!!

Well its a good idea if you need your lips not to dry out.I don,t wear lipstick so i take the lip moisturizers every where i go.There are several types available.I wouldn,t think that skin color would matter one way or the other.
