I get mixed reations from family and friends on my choice of wedding day. I picked April Fools Day, because it is a day of fun.

if thats what you and you intended want then do it - perhaps you could keep those with mixed feelings about April 1st happy by marrying after 12noon (when the fools bit has ended)

My uncle had a wedding on that day because at the hotel all the other days were booked and noone wanted it on April Fools.

Make your wedding not just a romantic kinda thing... make it something you'll really remember. It DOES sound fun!!

it'd be easier for your husband to remember your aniversary! Wedding's don't always have to be traditional, April fools could be fun/funny.

It is a fun day. However, it is known also as a day of trusting no one and a day of trickery and deceit. If that does not play into your feelings at all, I say go for it! It is your day, you should marry when you decide it is right.
