I bought a phone in Russia, and like it better than my USA phone, but I have Verizon, and I'm unsure Verizon is sim-card capable? Does anyone know what USA brands use sim-cards?

Cingular,T-Mobile and Nextel are the only 3 comp in the US that use sim cards .As for the phone you will need to chk with the company to see if its compatible with the US system.

As far as I know basically all cell phone companies are Sim Card friendly...besides Sprint. Check your current phone for a Sim Card......if it has one then your in the clear.

Verizon uses CDMA, not GSM, so you will not find a SIM card in their phones. T-Mobile and Cingular use GSM.
