Does anyone else get vibes from American Eagle that they are total A+F wannabes? I am wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way...If you agree, why?

I shop at AE religious and AE is more of college casual, very trendy, in to keeping the youths looking young without them looking slezy as AF does. AF is more of I am going to go party and AE is I am going to get a education and be more productive in society. And advertising and market is totally different AF = slutty and AE=preserved youth Ae= cheaper more reasonably price item but not some thirft store and AF= too expensive for the same thing as AE, Aeropostale, and all the other store.
