Should broadcasters be compelled to give free air time to political candidates, in order to bring down the cost of campaign finance?

No. It'll be used to squelch truth and honest opinion, and commentary on talk shows that isn't even from the broadcaster.

We need three reforms to campaign finance.

One: eliminate federal matching funds. This is simply stealing my tax money and giving it to the two major parties.

Two: Don't try to control campaign spending. Look for the quid pro quo's, the reasons why multinational corporations give money to EVERY candidate.

Three: End the protection of the press against libel. If it's not true and they publish it, hold them accountable. End the protection of "absence of malice".
