They say they are family oriented but when it comes to parents working there and need time off due to sick child or your own health they seem to down it and lay you off instead that is my own feelings..i enjoy shopping at walmart but they all need to have the same pricing..i find that one walmart is cheaper on prices then another..i guess the ones that complain are the ones that most likely have worked for them in the past or the present

NOT TRUE!
My last experience at Wal-Mart was truly my last.
Over the summer, I got a combo 19" RCA TV/DVD for under $150. I went to the Mart early on a Sunday morning and it was great: easy parking (a big deal in Los Angeles), it wasn't crowded and I found exactly what I needed right away.
In the beginning of November (Saturday afternoon), I needed a bunch of stuff, and went to the Mart for one stop shopping (I am SO not a shopper).
It took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot that was a 7 minute walk to the door.
My cart was retarded, and I couldn't find a replacement.
Fat people were blocking the aisles with their behinds and carts.
They did not have everything I needed, though these things were advertised on their website.
Long lines. Naturally, the line I was in didn't move. By the time I got to check out, the cashier said "This lane is 12 items or less."
The massive headache I got that day finally disappeared the next day.

Why do people complain about Walmart?
One Because Sam Walton wanted everything made from America and at a decent price.
Now that Walmart has so many stores and hes gone they really dont go buy what his oriinal intentions were meant to be American Made.
I went to Buy a Flag an American Flag but refused and left because it had made in China on it.
Now for the second Part of Question why do people keep going back?
Simple Convience or Habbit and Lets not Forget Ga Prices it's too costly in gas to really go shoping where wed really like to because of cost of gas.

people complain about wal-mart because they are a huge super cooperation. They have enough profit to buy almost any property including cattle ranches. Ont the other hand Wal-mart has low prices and irresistible offers. That is why people claim to hate Wal-mart

I love Wal-Mart. I get everything I need there and it doesn't cost me a fortune. The only complaint I have is that apparently hundreds of other people think that too because the whole city is in Wal-Mart when I am trying to shop.

Because although they deliver the consumer goods at great prices they limit the amount of profit their suppliers are able to take on one end by dictating to them the price that they will pay --take it or leave it, severely mistreat employees (just looks at all the lawsuits over unpaid wages and compensation) and also outcompete local businesses that may pay better wages and benefits to their employees in the towns that Walmart operates putting the smaller firms out of business.Long lines, bad service at times, incompetance (I had a really bad experience regarding getting new tires at the auto center there) and they couldnt make a key right after 3 tries and I gave up. Should I go on?,,,,,,

I think one reason why people tend to complain about Walmart is because they spend more money then they normally would because of the great prices. Another reason I believe people may complain is alot of the newer stores no longer have a layaway plan that really helped out families with their shopping needs...especially for back-to-school and Christmas.
Everyone has their reason for complaining. Personally I like the store and really can't complain except when I overspend but I can't blame anyone for that but myself....lol

There's an excellent undercover documentary out that speaks to the issues with Walmart. And the issues span from the family to the company, to the effects on local economy to the way they treat overseas workers. Much too numerous to lay out here.

People don't like to put up with the hassle of finding parking spaces, long lines, and limited supplies, but they also don't like the hassle of going to twenty different stores to get what they want when they can just go to one. Walmart also has a huge successful marketing plan that pulls people in.

It's a love-hate relationship. They have everything we love, but everyone else needs/wants that stuff too---so when you go, everyone and their momma is there with you. Plus, sometimes the workers there aren't the most friendly people, but that isn't a very rewarding job.
