I'll admit the data is correct with this article, However, I would say the missing information is important enough that this could be negated. The information is based on the number of people, but not on the services offered in every county. Those services, if they exist, are often what is paid into by the stimulus package. The other piece that's missing is the information about governors and legislatures preventing some of the spending from getting to certain counties. That's going on right now. In fact, many of the Republican governors that received funding have proceeded to spend that to reduce their state deficits rather than deceminate the money to the individual counties to pay for jobs. These missing pieces of information are absolutely essential toward understanding what's going on. If both were proved to be inconsequential, I would agree with you.

Why does it seem to happen in Florida, about election impropriety? I thought it was just Katherine Harris, but since she was out of that vote counting business, the only common denominator is the name Bush. I guess the younger brother is staying the course on voting numbers.

Mind giving a link? Looking at the tribune and haven't seen it listed.
edit: Found these...
This sort of thing happens all over the US. Sad..
It makes no difference which party is doing it, is it that difficult to understand that BOTH parties have pulled this? We voters are the ones to lose in any case.

Our overall system seems to be messed up.
We put a man on the moon in 1969 and brought him safely back, but we cannot control the ballot? What is wrong with this picture?

Diebold is still on the job. Make no mistake about it. This is something both party's should be very concerned about.
