I want my friend , whom I haven't seen in a while, to come to a party, but she can't because she has other things already planned to do. should I do something, if so what?

here is the real deal. if your friend really wanted to come to your party, she would. or...her planned event would be explain to you in detail, (because she feels bad & really wants to come to your party). sorry, that's my answer. but, if you are desperate for this person to come..call and remind her of your party, just in case her other plans fall through or get cancelled. that would be ok.
