And would you vote for either one? And if not, why? How do you believe it would impair his/her ability to run the country?

Presidents who were single at the time of election: Jefferson (widowed), Van Buren (widowed), Buchanan (never married), Arthur (widowed), and Cleveland (married after being elected).

Divorced: Ronald Reagan was divorced from his first wife, Jane Wyman, and had gotten remarried to Nancy Davis.

Non-Christian: Several of the early Presidents (notable Jefferson, both Adamses) were deists, which would not be considered Christian by today's standard, though they likely were at the time. Several others (Fillmore, Taft) were Unitarian.

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were Deists, not Christians, and they were 2 of the greatest presidents in our history. Reagan was divorced.

Spirituality and morality are more important than religion in leadership. Marriage, likewise, is a non-issue.

Reagan was divorced and remarried to Nancy. Jane Wyman was his first wife. I don't know if all Presidents were Christians.
I don't think any of those things would be factors in my decision on who to vote for.

As others have noted, we've had divorced presidents and single presidents. And it doesn't matter. It will be interesting when we elect our first Jew...or Muslim...or Buddhist! Now, that'll be news!!

Buchanon was single. To the best of my knowledge, all were at least nominally Christian.

Reagan was divorced. Buchanan was single. Cleveland was single when he was elected. None of that matters. What matters is what kind of a person he is. Don't judge people for their marital status or religion, please.
