I would wait atleast a week after you have missed your period to test Some people HCG hormones may not be high enough to test early on. Remember, HCG hormones double evry two days. If you are not getting the results that you expected from the home pregnancy test, contact your OBGYN and have a blood serum test done, that way you will know for sure what is going on. I think you have to wait 2 weeks but speak to a doctor about a blood test. They are more accurate then an over the counter test. Good Luck

There are some tests designed to let you know almost right away (within a few days of sex) check your local chemist. Otherwise about 3-6 days after your missed peroid is ideal.
