Sorry if you think my question is sad. Love has nothing to do w/ like. You can love your family, but you don't have to LIKE them, and I don't LIKE my mother.

I Like And Both Of My Parents They Have Alway Been By My Side When I Need Them. I Will Admit There Time When They Kind Try to Help me To Much Both I will Always Like/Love Them. I Don't Know Why You Don't Get Along With Your Mother But you Should Try To Work Things Out Sometimes it is Hard To Do That But If You Make the First Step Then Maybe She Will Try Too

Yes, and I love my parents as well. My mother is my best friend now, but, my dad was my best friend ... when I was a little girl. We're a very close family.
BTW: You're right goodgyrl ... love and like are totally different.

My mum is great, but sometimes I don't like my dad too much. You can forgive but you can't completely forget. He seems to have conveniently forgotten he was absent for the first 21 years of my life and comments on how slack some dads are. Irony...

I love and like my parents very much and wish that Dad was still here with us, he passed away 3 years and 9 months ago, and I sure do miss him.
