Soon enough we will too busy dealing with Iran and their nuclear threat to the entire globe to squabble about partisan or nationalist politics.
At least N. Korea has China keeping them in check, Ahmandinejad is an insane "Hitler" type with an apocalyptic view. He and his adherents will not subject themselves to ANY international governing bodies and have already stated they will annihilate anyone who disagrees with them. Israel is first on their list and the USA is their ultimate goal.
WWIII is looming on the horizon, I hope the Dems and Reps can work together enough to save the world. Europe will probably suffer huge losses before it is all said and done.
Extremists are nothing if not honest. They say they hate because they do hate. They've been telling us they want to kill us. Do you believe them?

Good points Joe Black. To start, simply "invading" N Korea would really tick off their very close ally China, not a good idea. Diplomacy is definitely the better option.
About the oil, you're probably right. Considering the Mideast provides about 20% of world oil supplies, Iran could hold the entire region hostage cutting off this supply from all who fail to capitulate with them. It's definitely time to "bite the bullet" and eliminate our reliance on Mideastern oil.
I often disagree with Bush. You can bash him all you will but he is doing what HE believes is best for his and our country. There are many places in the world where people do not have the luxury of disagreeing with and speaking out against their leaders (like Iraq).

My opinion about the war changed after N.Korea test fired their missiles. I used to think that America, the greatest nation on earth, would never allow any nation to abuse its people or threat other nations with a nuclear weapon. And I used to think that just as we went to stop Saddam, we would surely invade N.Korea and teach them a lesson that they wouldn't soon forget. But I soon learned that we would not do such a thing. Because N. Korea in not Iraq, and they don't have OIL. We only fight for OIL to keep our BIG SUVs going. We are willing to kill millions of people from both sides (ours and theirs) to keep the oil coming. If it was really about the WMDs then why is N. Korea allowed to continue doing evil and threatening the world? OIL is the answer, of course. More than 3079 (three thousand seventy-nine) people have been killed in Iraq so far this month. ALL FOR OIL. Great job Mr. President.

"Gravity" nuclear bombs are actually fantastically uncommon, maximum nukes utilized via bombers like the B52 are actually stand off weapons - short variety missiles. whilst gravity nuclear bombs are used, they are dropped from severe altitude. they do now not "flow off superb away flat". The bombs dropped on Japan had to fall extra beneficial than 5 miles beforehand they detonated. This gave even the piston engine bombers of the era adequate time to flee the blast. Later, whilst plans referred to as for jet fighters to furnish nukes from decrease altitudes, they'd "toss" the weapon. The fighter would pull up right into a steep, merely approximately vertical, climb and launch the weapon. With it particularly is upward momentum, the bomb would proceed upward beforehand commencing to fall in direction of detonation collectively as the fighter accomplished a nil.5 loop and cleared the section. the challenge of surviving your individual nuclear weapon became a extra robust challenge the army. throughout the time of the 50's and 60's they better and deployed countless styles of short variety tactical nukes, alongside with atomic artillery with an effectual variety of five miles. The gun team would have unquestionably been effected via the blast,

No doubt about it they don't care if they die and take as many as possible with them. Russia is selling missles to Iran how long before it sells nuclear? Or has it done it already? One day we will see a mushroom cloud over the states.

yes I do, but if we all convert to Islam then it'll be fine... they only hate us really because they live on a part of the Earth that is effectively unihabitable, well to any normal person that is, but they don't really like it there and want to move to our countries, so they want us all to have their stone age view of women and live in caves and keep goats and sheep like they do... it's quite simple really, we have a nice civilised way of life, they don't like it becuase we are the have's and they are the have nots...
