Depends on which kind of e-mail you're talking about. There are free e-mail providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo!, Gmail (works with invites only), etc.

Visit www.hotmail.com and use the sign up page to fill out the form and submit it to start sending and receiving e-mails.

u go to yahoo...then click check mail....and below where u log in there should be a box that says new user...or somethin like that....
