What did you spend? Was fighting the crazy crowds worth it?

I work in retail and honestly, at one point I was afraid I was going to get hurt by the crush of people. People were really rude and ignorant to me and each other. It just gets worse every year...honestly, what do people expect when there are thousands of people in a store? Excellent, prompt customer service? It was all I could do to help who I can. Some people were great and really nice and patient. Thanks to all of those people--but to all the jerks--Merry Christmas to you, too.

I shopped for my older daughter and got all her gifts. I got to the malls after all the early morning craziness and found some alright deals, nothing out of the ordinary. I even went to the store I cannot stand, Hollister and found what I needed (no deal though).

I did! Started at 5 a.m. Not sure on what was spent. Probably a little over a thousand. It WAS so worth it. The kids will be thrilled on Christmas morning.

I waited until late this afternoon, when the crowds went home and fell asleep. I only got a few things though.

i shopped on black friday...... well after everything was gone, but there was still a pretty good crowd... i needed outdoor christmas lights.... got strings of 100 for 75 cents too....

i was at Walmart @ 5am and yea the crowd was insane the rest of the places besides Kohls wasnt too bad, its just as hectic shoppin the day after xmas too

No, I had to work and then came home, safer for me, besides I don't like crowds and can wait to Christmas shop. :)

No way, ususally I don't even leave the house because the traffic is so bad EVERYWHERE. Theres no deal out there worth my sanity.

Not me! I stayed away from the stores (and that's a mean feat for me!)
Oh drats! Spoke too soon. Hubby is making me go to Blockbusters, but that doesn't count. Or does it?
