A cordless nail gun is nothing more than a pnuematic nail gun with a minor variation. when the trigger is squeezed 2 things happen. Combustible gas is relaesed into a cylinder and at the same time the precharged electrical ignition ignites the gas and the cylinder piston immediatly implodes on the ram that drives the nail.
