I went to my Game Stop today to get a Wii and they were out again. (they only got 3 in this mornning) But the clerk told me that next week there should be a lot of Wiis and that it should be pretty easy to pick one up! Anybody know if there is any truth to this?

Oh boy, me and you are on the same hunt!

I got back from gamestop and heard honestly that you can expect gamestop to recieve 2-3 consoles everyday, so if you want to hope thats true, show up at opening everyday and maybe you'll get lucky.

They also guarentee alot more wii's next week, BUT they'll go fast, and so you should try to be there by opening on a daily basis next week too, most chances rest on monday.

If you still cant get your hands on the wii, dont worry! Nintendo plans on shipping out enough wii's for EVERYONE to have one before christmas time, and probably within a week or two --- Every store will have tons of em soon.

So keep your chin up

Same thing here today...went to Gamestop to get a WII and they told me next week. I can't say for sure if they will get anymore next week...but today, their online site was selling Wii bundles...And, another thing is there is supposed to be many more Wii that were produced and not that many PS3. Hope this helps!

ummm.....You can never be too careful, keep trying!I camped out to get my Wii and I got the 17th Wii out of 20 Wiis from Walmart on 11/19/06.I don't reccomend going to a store that has the word "game" in it's name because everyone goes there, but keep trying the Wii is awesome!!!
