If you just came back from Black Friday chaos, share your story!
Here is mine:
I'm boycotting CompUSA. They totally ripped us off. Their ads indicated this HP laptop for $549.99 http://bfads.net/pop/6738 so when we got there, they said it was sold out. OK, that was expected, but we also found out they sold the very last one LAST WEEK. What the hell, right?
Oh, also, Office Depot sucks too. My cousins got their hands on several "tickets" for the same HP laptop for like $450, but when they got to the cashier, it was sold out. Then why the available tickets!? JERKS!
I swear to God - someone must put an end to this fraud - it's just so wrong!

Can consumers actually sue these retailers for something like that? It's obvious dishonest.

No, I didn't yell at anyone, I'm not the type. I found out about the HP deal from the guy who stood in line in front of me earlier outside; he was looking for the same laptop. I saw him going at it with the employees - so later I asked him if he got one, and that was when he told me they sold the last one last week. Which is wrong.

Well, I'm boycotting Office Depot! I ordered something online at 3AM on Black Friday and selected the in-store pick up option. However, I wasn’t able to pick it up until Saturday. When I went, the guy was searching for my item around the whole store for like 15 minutes and finally gave up and his excuse to me was that you’re not supposed to be able to access the web to order it online (and have the in-store pick up option). I was like that’s BULL!! I didn’t say it, but it just doesn’t make any sense. I am sure the IT guys would have disabled the option if it was truly unavailable. I think that because it was a popular item, someone gave away the reserved item (that was supposed to be for me) to someone who asked for it when they were shopping at the store. I didn’t run into this problem with Circuit City (or Best Buy) when I went on Saturday to pick up my web order. I just had to wait a couple of minutes while they went to the back to grab my items. And furthermore, when I asked if it was OK to come back to pick it up when they received more inventory, he said no, the sale will be over after today. That didn’t make sense to me either because I know that as long as I made my purchase within the valid dates (at Circuit City), I can pick it up any time. C.City didn’t even print me out a different receipt when I got there, they told me to use my email confirmation receipt as proof of purchase when I submit my rebate. So I just don’t understand why it’s not the same at Office Depot. Good thing I don’t shop there that much; I like Staples or Office Max so much better! Thanks for listening, I just wanted to vent that to someone. It’s not that I wanted the item from Office Depot that bad; I am just fed up that they don’t even follow their own policy (purchase online and have in-store pick up – option was available)!

Calm down. Imagine being a worker at one of those stores with all the psychos trying to get their greedy hands on the stuff. Perhaps because they were busy they could not take those extra tickets off the shelf. Don't shop on the day after Thanksgiving unless you expect disappointments. And LORD I hope you didn't yell at any cashiers or innocent workers. It's not their fault!

Almost went this year. But I was on my way to the mall and I heard a guy on the radio call in and said it took him 45 minutes to get a parking space. So I turned around. I went a few years ago and I thought everything was 50% off in one store so I went crazy but it turned out only a few things were 50% off. Which really sucked.

Getting to the store early. Standing in line for 5 hours while waiting for the store to open. Being near the front of the line with a half hour to go before the doors open...and needing to use a toilet.

You betcha! The left in this u . s . a . are infamous for utilising minority communities to layer their nests. First they convince the gang that they are victims of this or that. After coaching self-helplessness to the gang, they furnish the treatment; and purely they have the treatment. yet pay attention, their so-observed as treatment comes at an quite extreme value--your soul and person-friendly experience.
