I`m writing a screenplay, and have two ideas. Would you rather watch a movie about two sisters who were adopted, and one of them tracks the other down. Then eventually, their adoptive parents fall in love (basically, a movie involving emotions), or a movie about the supernatural. It would probablly have a little more action in it.
If you say neither, tell me what type of movie you would like to watch. My problem is that I have plenty of ideas, but I need to figure out what people would actually enjoy and watch.

I think that supernatural is winning right now. Please give me an answer for that one, but also tell me if you think it should be a movie or television show.
Remember, if you don`t like either of them, I`m open for suggestions.

supernatural, that first idea sucks and it's extremely unoriginal, and it has been done a million times, the second one has been done a million times, but it can be done in a million diffent ways, so I choose numba 2
PS: I love most things that have to do with the supernatural

In my opinion, the emotional stuff is WAY hackneyed. And from what you're saying, the sister story kind of sounds like the Parent trap.
I end up predicting all the scenes and laughing during the sad scenes - I'm a pretty hard film critic. If you want to please a larger crowd, I'd say the supernatural would be good, with lots of action, maybe a little bit of romance for those who love chick flicks.
The movies and books I love the most, though, seem to incorporate a lot of irony. The ones where the least expected things occur. Take Harry Potter or Serendipity, for example.

Both are fine ideas. Combining them is also a good idea.
Sometimes the 'concept' is not as important as the story. If you create your stories with gripping characters and a solid plot - people will generally like it.
Which one feels better to you? Which have you done more work on? Follow it through and see how it comes out. Then, write the second one. Doing both could also be the answer!
It's not like you won't need another story down the line.

The first sounds like a "chick-flick" so I would choose the supernatural action screenplay.

hmm the supernatural has been done so many different times, the first one sounds more interesting, and more emotional.. I really get into emotioanl movies... Hell I cried when i saw Click so maybe im just a sucker for emotional movies Lol
