Considering the fact that temperatures can rise up to millions or even more! Human body temperature is only about 200C away from absolute zero. Isn't that an interesting fact? Or am I just fishing in desert?

Certainly, life as we know it functions in a farily narrow temperature range when compared to the total range of absolute zero to the millions of degrees in a star. This range is much closer to absolute zero than it is to the temperature of a star.

However, the colder temperatures slow chemical reactions. This is the basic premise of refrigeration to keep food fresh. The bacteria can't grow as fast. Below even the freezing point of water, most life (chemical) processes slow to a crawl. A similar situation is true for higher temperatures but for an entirely different reason. If things get too hot, chemicals separate and cannot react. Solids become liquid and liquids become gases.

It may be interesting, but it's really just the physics of our universe. I'll take a nice 12" sand trout.

I'm not sure of the question you're asking, but there is nowhere on Earth anywhere near absolute zero. The coldest temperature ever recorded on Earth was -89.3C on July 21, 1983, at Vostok station, Antarctica.

I guess what I'm saying is that any discussion of life processes near absolute zero are fairly moot.

Absolute 0 is barely a thought. If it have been some how obtainable not in basic terms could you DIE... yet you will seem quite damn "cool" interior the technique... -Rimshot- in case you have been already ineffective and you by some ability carried out absolute 0 your physique could crystallize... probably turning out to be ice... um... of diverse colours... think of roughly this: once you place a slab of frozen meat on the counter, the counter turns into chilly, precise? nicely in case you got a physique to realize absolute 0, an exceptionally chilly temp, then the table could additionally freeze, besides because of the fact the room, and quite lots each thing around it. i could not think of what the decrease to this freezing radius could be.

easy to answer questions that arent questions...hahaha... yes.. it is fascinating that on the vast scale of temperatures possible, that life chooses one that is relatively cold, but consider this...life as we know it requires water to be a liquid, and that temperature range is rather small on the vast scale of the universe
