The real father of Josh is a doctor, who with his wife, were neighbours of Ashley. The doc had an affair with Maxine. Now the doc is re-married and he wanted custody of Josh. Poor old Cilla isn't really having an affair. Rumour has it that she's going into hospital for skin cancer

ashley isnt the biolgical father - the doctor (forgot his name) is the biological father and is the one trying to take the son, he had an affair with maxine from what i remember it was a one off fling.
i guess you are not in the uk (either am i but was) if so you are a long long way behind.
