Never use petcos care sheets. There totally off, for snakes it says you need a hot rock, which is something you DO NOT want to use. And for what kind of snake to get it depends on size. Corn snakes and king snakes are smaller where ball pythons are small-medium red-tailed boas about 8 feet. Figure out what size and start looking into snakes that size. Read ALOT about it, too many people get snakes and ask stupid questions.. ex (my boa hasnt shed and the humidity is at 30%) As for information there are many good sites just search for them, http://repticzone.com/ is also a good site to find out what kind of snake that you would like to get.

Reptileking is right on the pricing. And Petco will be able to give you a caresheet. You can also try www.kingsnake.com. They have great care sheets on all types of snakes.

You could go to www.petco.com, or, if you want a better cared-for snake, search on google for snake breeders in (city, state, zip). Also, you could go check out a petco store.
Have a Merry, merry Christmas!
