Batmans quite good but I agree with the great Alan Moore that if you saw your parents murdered in front of you, would taking on the guise of a man-bat be your first reaction, and if it was would that not make you a little insane?
I think the lastest movies are getting close to the idea that the Dark Knight is very dark in deed.
Graphic novels have been dealing with it for years now. What really would a 'Superhero' be like and a world with superheros?

My thought would be "Wonder Woman." She was one of the very first women to kick butt as a super hero. Not to mention, she broke the stereo type that blondes are better than brunettes!

Miracleman. He had the most tragic story out of any superhero Marvel or DC have created. Yet he still managed to create a utopia on Earth.

The flash because he gets no love and he can turn back time with his wicked quicks, what other power would you need if you could outrun anyone or anything. Plus he could do some sweet las vegas magic shows since he can move his limbs so fast

Batman. He doesn't NEED any stinking super powers.
He can beat anyone else just on sheer willpower and dedication.
He's wicked smart, a deadly fighter, master of all kinds of weapons, he doesn't kill, has WAY kewl gadgets, nice costume, Alfred, and he's rich.
What's NOT to like?

Well, I love the X-men and my fav out of the X-men would have to be wolverine. He has the ability to regenerate himself and has really cool indestructible claws.
