Ichiro because he is more of contact and not power. The Giants would need people on base if they want to score runs.

Ortiz because the giants stadium, SBC Park is becoming more of a hitters park. also he would have a more vivid affect in the clubhouse due to his age and personality versus Ichiro and Griffey. Also Ichiro and Griffey is not needed because the Giants still have Randy Winn.

Don't worry he is staying but I'm just saying.

Ichiro would make the giants better. He provides top of the line defense and base-running which distracts the pitchers so the other guys on the team can get better pitches to hit. He will steal a lot of bases. He will also give you around 230 hits guarenteed, and will also be among the lead leaders in on base percentage and batting average. He is the best chpice for any team. Griffey provides a great bat, but is very prone to injuries. Big Papi provides great power, but provides no defense so he wouldn't be able to concentrate on hitting, and has a chance of getting injured since he fills the role of being a designated hitter.

Ortiz could never play in the NL because he makes way to many defensive mistakes. Griffey is old and always injured and that is definately not what the Giants need. So the answer would be the answer because he is a great hitter, he is fast and most importantly can defend AT&T Parks difficult right field.

You'd need at least 2 of 3. I'd take Ichiro and Ortiz.

Big Papi can't hide behind the DH. Griffey is a fixture on the DL so by default I'll go Ichiro. Problem then would be getting some home runs to drive him in if they don't resign Bonds.

If Ortiz could learn to play first base better than he would be perfect for the Giants. They desperately need a real power hitter.

Ichiro, One of the best base hitters. That is what the Giants need, a leadoff hitter, Something they have not had in a lot time!

IF Bonds goes it would be Ortiz. If not it would be Ichiro. But Ramirez would be Da Man!
