He's one guy I would love to meet. I think he is awesome. I love most of his movies.

He is still a blockbuster star. His movies are still at least in the top 3 usually at the box office.
Personally, I don't like him that much with all his scientology and public outbursts and such, but on the screen he's a terrific, entertaining actor, and that's all that should matter. That's his job. His job is not to be a likable person in public.

His ego is overly inflated, he is greedy, materialistic, self-centred, possibly has a borderline personality disorder looking at his behaviour patterns.
Not the sort of person I would invite around for dinner. We once had a meat ad on TV here where the teenage girl decides to go home for lamb roast rather than go on a date with Tom Cruise! Not a bad ad on reflection!

I think he is a great actor and whatever he gets up to away from his "day job" is his own business and it really shouldn't worry anybody. So what if he's a bit quirky, that's what makes people interesting - far better than being some boring old fart! As for leaving a bad taste - Barf!!!

I think he's a flaming homosexual that is masking it by marrying Katie Holmes. I also think he's ruined his image in the past year. His weird scientology obsession is over the top and annoying. I used to think he was hot but now I think he's gay and fat....no longer attractive. Poor Tom.

Bad taste in my mouth, at least. I didn't appreciate his comments about Brooke Shields and her problem with PPD & his views on mental illness in general...especially after he got on the Oprah show and acted so bizarre--as if he just escape from the manic ward...washed up weirdo

NOPE - he's ruined his image forever - he'll always be thought of as a crazy, whack job, Zenu follower. It's gonna cut into his salary soon too. His handler's should've gotten ahold of him a long time ago.

I really love many of his movies and he is an excellent actor.
However, as a person he leaves much to be desired. His antics have turned me off to him. I can never watch his movies again with the same enthusiasm

he probably will make a come back. but he needs to act his age. i mean jumping on oprah's sofa. guess how much that sofa cost.
and the thing about putting brooke shields down because she takes antidepressant was not his to mention. he's a good action star but he needs to watch what he says.
bad taste-definitly.
