i enjoy the weekends to be able to stay in! If you enjoy it then why worry, you're not missing out, only if you think you should be going out.

Funny that... I was thinking about that last week, as I find myself staying in more and more. I love going out, don't get me wrong, but it has changed. I prefer to be with close friends at a nice restaurant, or maybe chillin at one of our places, cooking or hanging out, whatever... People socialise in different ways... I think the thing about "going out", is about who you will see, and getting dressed up. What may be the prospects of the night? I think this is the excitement. A lot of it is superficial of course, my meaning being, people that need to be seen with cool people in cool places, but then you can go out with a group of mates and have a real laugh and meet great people. I guess, it ultimately depends on what a person makes of it.
I don't think you are missing anything. Why don't you make a gathering at your place with your mates? That can be really cool and the makings for a great night!!
Love

For me the greatest thing about going out on the weekends is geting to get out of the hosue and forget about life at home for a few moments! I love just finding a quiet table in a quiet resturant and ordering some really yummy food to share with my hubby! I don't see why someone NEEDS to go out on the weekdns in order to havea good time. You may just be missing nothing but a headache. Sit back on the weeneds and do what it is that makes you feel absolutely great! Even for only a moment. Take some time to recharge and you may find that your week to come will feel that much better! Have fun!!!!!!

I often don't feel inclined to go out on any night, especially if it's been a busy week and I'm tired. But most of the time I make myself go because when I go out, I get out of my headspace and have a good time.
Sometimes, when I don't feel like drinking, I drive so there's no pressure but I still get to socialise. I can also go home early if I feel like the vibe's not right or I'm just too tired.
It's not good to stay cooped up inside - getting out and about means you connect with people, forget about whatever rubbish is going on in your ife and let your hair down. It's a very useful way of de-stressing and getting a fresh perspective on things.
If you make yourself go out and socialise when you least feel like it, you will benefit and you will feel good because you'll feel proud of yourself for making the effort. Getting glammed up makes you feel good too!

I don't like socializing on the weekend. I teach all week, and often work late into the night grading papers and making plans. On the weekend, I tutor about three kids. The time that is mine is solely MINE. I'll go out- but alone.. or with my sister and her daughter. "Going out" on the weekend, for me, consists of a trip to the bookstore, a coffee of some sort, and nice browse and maybe a purchase or two at the bookstore. Then maybe off to an all night diner/cafe to enjoy my book and maybe catch up on life with my sis and my niece. Weekends are precious, and they are MINE.

the ability to just not give a damn about what you say or do b/c of the booze. it's all the booze's fault. it's a time when we can just act like complete idiots and pick up hot people to surround ourselves with. People who at the moment have the same thing going on as you. That thing is that you all are totally wasted. AW, great times those weekends.

Well it's just getting out on a night you don't have to work and get to sleep in the next morning. Having a couple drinks and being with friends and eeling free after a long hard week at work.

i stay in to love, for a start it is much safer and you can actually hear people when they talk to you instead of pretending and nodding because music is too loud! I think it is important to "go out" sometimes, but i dont understand y people choose to do it every fri, sat, surely it gets boring!

You're not missing anything that important, but it is nice to get out and do something, as opposed to watching another boring rerun at home
