Non-violence. MLK started a new wave of thinking about race relations. I think he's great.

Ok id just like to say to this idiot who has no clue of what she is talking about a "street thug" and the rest. Look you obviosly have never listened to any of Tupac's songs and no nothing about the man himself. Tupac and his step father organised Blood and Crip peace days that where held in parks, where two of the most violent gangs in america would come together with no violence. Tupac planned to open a centre for children that had nowhere else to go before he was gunned down. The journey he was making was to a anti-violence event at Club 662 when he was fatally shot. Tupac wasnt an angel but neither is anyone but he sure isnt the person you have imagined in your head and he certainly never claimed to be one. Thug life stands for The Hate You Gave Little Infants F's Everybody. So he isnt talking about robbing people when he say's that.
Tupac and Gandhi are from a different place and a different generation, the way Ghandi's supporters look apon him is the same way the Tupac supporters look apon tupac (if what your saying is tupac advocated violence i believe your totally wrong), and for the record tupac did not diss Martin Luther King. I believe the song your talking about is "to live and die in LA" , if you listen to the words more closely it is not a diss towards him, i dont know how it could be construed as one but ok.
Everyone else that is going to say something disrespectfull lets see you be homeless at 17 and have a crack addicted mother and get to the level he got to. What people love to forget is tupac was only 25 years old, he never even got a chance to live his life before he was murdered. If MLK and the other global figures and black icons died at 25 nobody would have known them, just remember that.

You are comparing Tupac to Gandhi... Sad. First you should get educated and realize that though Tupac was a good writer, he was not a Gandhi. This question is a disgrace to all the great thinkers in history.

I prefer Mahatas Gandhi because he believed in peace and non violence while Tupac was a rapper and rap music promotes violence.

Honey, Two Packs of Crackers was a street thug who lived by the gun and died by the gun. There was no "great message" in any of the crap that he attempted to pose as music. Gandhi was a great man of peace and wisdom. There is no contest between the two or between the theory of violence versus non-violence.

You need a little of both. You can't have pople going around shooting all the time. But you need your messege to get around in a way people can relate to. That's what Tupac did.

I on no account extremely understood that approximately 2pac the two, little question he substitute right into a great poet, a great impression on rap music, and considered one of rap's appropriate yet he contradicted himself many circumstances. percentmade songs approximately women individuals being mistreated by utilising adult adult males, and approximately how adult adult males ought to handle women individuals extra suitable yet in a number of his video clips he treats women individuals like intercourse products, and in one he even grabs her *** from at the back of. Or approximately he spoke approximately spoke ending violence interior the black community, changing the way black adult adult males think of, then posing with weapons and imposing a stereotypical ghetto image of black those together with his finished thug existence character. sure he spoke a pair of lot of subjects interior the black community, yet he additionally contradicted himself at circumstances by utilising being the very element he spoke approximately.
