You probably have some SpyWare. You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

Return to this QUESTION and add details of what you have tried. We'll come back to give more hints.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

if you are running windows XP i highly recommend upgrading to Internet Explorer 7...this update can be found at www.microsoft.com....this internet explorer has a built in pop-up blocked so it should help. Also if u have downloaded a new program try uninstalling it...this could be what is causing the problem. Another thing to try is open Control Panel=>add/remove programs in the list see if any applications strike u as odd ones- - -if so, uninstall it! One final thing to try is a virus/spyware scan...if you are running Windows XP you can visit the microsoft website and use their WindowLive OneCare virus/spyware/etc scan.

It is spyware, don't open any of them. There are several free spyware programs, Adaware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy, Microsoft Defender plus others. Go to the Magor Greeks.com or CNET.Com for downloads, there are others. Then keep these up to date as well as your Antivirus program---and get a popup blocker program to keep those out.
