Eastenders should be ended as the storyline is weak.

I think to spice it up Pauline should have lesbian relationship with Dot.
Stacey should be spanked in the Vic for pulling that gawpie face.
Phil should be beaten up by Jane who is really a Black Belt 8th dan.
Ian should be executed for being Saddam - he should suffer big time for his boyish behaviour which has not changed since he was a kid.
Keith Miller sould be scrubbed continuously for the next 6 months.
Peggy should stick to Carry on films
Yolande should become a sex siren (she's a cheeky lady - also needs a good spanking - sassy babe)
Ruby should dance around the square
Bradley should dispense with the Gingerism
Winston should be given a full time role as he has been an extra since the series began.

These changes would make it a better view and possibly vie with the far superior Corrie (Frankie I love you babes - though the Cockney accent is poor)

used to love eastenders but dont watch as much as it has become unbelievably bad, story lines are cack and so are the actors. Im already a corrie fan so it wont affect me in the slightest. Bring it on and dont bring it back (without lots of changes and a new cast)

3months is long for a show like this. I reckon the viewer ratings will drop dramatically when it comes back on. People will forget about it.

I'm not bothered as I'm only a part time viewer.. usually during the winter months. It's really depressing anyways

No way !!! I think ppl may be tempted to go up north to fill in their 7:30 -8 slots on the weekdays - may need subtitles though for first time viewers - that mancunian accent can be a bit difficult to understand if u been listening to cockney east londeners for most of your life

For years I actively tried to avoid watching any soaps...then insidiously they began to suck me in…but I have always resisted the charms of Coronation Street…

I think soaps eventually get tired & run out of ideas…I am fed up with most of them …I certainly won't start watching another.

Good let's hope that it stays off forever, it is a load of rubbish. I did watch some of it years ago with the Dirty Den and the like, but have not watched it for years. it is the biggest load of twaddle on the box today.
